GSAE executive honored for advocacy

Wendy Kavanagh is second recipient of ASAE awardKavanagh Wendy Kavanagh will receive the Association Political Leadership Award March 21 during American Associations Day, ASAE's annual Capitol Hill fly-in. Kavanagh has been president of the Georgia Society of Association Executives since 2005. ASAE cited her "stalwart support of ASAE's advocacy agenda and for sharing the Power of A message with elected officials in Georgia and around the country." Kavanagh is the second person to receive ASAE's political leadership award. Cheryl Ronk, president of the Michigan Society of Association Executives, received the first award in 2016. Read More
